*Soft, ambient colours and tone use.
* Follows a story/scene - often use of relationships etc...
Soul
* Often very simple, singer mimes lyrics.
* Actual vocalist used in music video.
* More desaturated tones, deeper meaning.
Neo-Soul
* Brighter music videos, smooth, positive feel.
* Often makes use of vocalist miming.
* American Neo-Soul often makes use of scenery shots.
